STHS Observation Program
These short-term experiences offer the opportunity to shadow healthcare professionals in an active setting. Observation can help evaluate whether a healthcare career aligns with interests and can assist with fulfilling pre-requirements for academic programs. High school observers must be at least 17 years of age to participate.

STHS Internship Program
This opportunity provides participants with hands-on exposure to healthcare careers, clinical practices, and essential skills in a professional setting. The program is designed to offer practical experience that supports career exploration and may fulfill school or educational requirements. Through guided work assignments and mentorship, participants gain valuable insight into the healthcare environment and its demands.

STHS posts paid collegiate internship positions on our STHS Careers website when openings are available. Interested collegiate students can use the button below to search our site for paid college internships that are open for application.
Unpaid Collegiate Internships
Collegiate students interested in pursuing an unpaid internship at STHS may submit an interest form using the button below. Interest forms are reviewed by the department of interest, and applicants are contacted if an opportunity is available.
