step 1:
Before Your New Hire Appointment
Use the Candidate Home button below to complete required pre-employment documents. Use the same login as your application.

After Accepting Your Verbal Offer & Within 2 Days:
Respond to the email or text message from Global Data Fusion to complete an attestation for the required background screening.

Your Health
After completing your Candidate Home tasks and within 2 business days, you will receive 2 emails from Workday containing a username, password, and link for you to access additional required pre-employment tasks. Continue to refresh your Workday inbox until no tasks remain.

You will receive an email from Pure Safety. Use all links in the email to complete your required Employee Health documents.

USCIS Website: Form I-9 Acceptable Documents
Bring To Your New Hire Appointment:
- Form I-9 Documents: You must bring original, unexpired, & acceptable forms of identification with you for Form I-9 completion. Visit the USCIS Website below to review valid Form I-9 Documents.
- Immunization and Health History Records: Bring your complete vaccine records. Based on your position, we may verify immunity for MMR (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella), Varicella (or verbalized history of Chicken Pox), Hepatitis B, Influenza, and Pertussis/DPT/Tdap.
- Certifications: If required for your position, email the below to sthsreview@stph.org
- Basic Life Support-BLS or CPR
- Advanced Life Support-ALS
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support-PALS
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program-NRP
- Crisis Prevention Institute's De-Escalation Certification-CPI)

At Your New Hire Appointment:
Report to STHS Human Resources for your scheduled appointment and wear comfortable clothing.
STHS Human Resources is located at 725 West 11th Street, Covington, LA 70433 (click for map). Parking is available for visitors in the front of the building on West 11th Street or in the gravel lot across South Polk Street. STHS Human Resources can be reached by calling 985-898-4415 extension 8.
You will complete the below:
If indicated, you may be required to submit medical clearance from a treatment provider or complete a functional capacity exam to demonstrate your ability to meet the physical demands indicated in your job description.

- Take a photo for your STHS identification badge
- Complete a drug screen
- Complete a health assessment (may include having a blood draw)

Your First Day & STHS Orientation:
At your new hire appointment, you will receive an orientation schedule. You will receive an email the Friday before orientation containing additional first day details. If you have any questions regarding orientation, your first day, or your first week, please contact your hiring manager.
